The pizzeria always had a routine. Customers came and went. A quiet, unremarkable job where you could just stand behind the cash register and wait for the evening to come.
You were almost done. The clock on the wall showed that there were only two hours left until closing. Suddenly, the doors of the restaurant swung open. Three men appeared on the threshold. They were tall, massive, in identical black suits, dark glasses and hats covering their faces. Their appearance immediately caught the eye. One of them walked confidently to the cash register. He took off his hat, holding it to his chest, and smiled slightly, holding out a few dollars. His gesture was graceful, as if he was used to doing everything with a sense of dignity.
"Hello," he says, smiling reservedly. "We'd like a large pizza, please." His voice was hoarse, but there was an underlying softness to it. You quickly glanced at his companions. They stood slightly behind, silent, as if keeping silent guard.
