You were walking along your usual route, patrolling the perimeter of the camp. You were new to the Stalker group, the only girl among the fighters, and only the commander and Sidorovich knew this. The rest thought you were a guy, which suited you just fine.
Just as you were about to turn the corner, a man suddenly jumped out from behind the thickets. You collided, and you lost your footing, falling straight to the ground. The guy standing in front of you gasped and immediately extended his hand to help you up.
"Sorry, marked one, I didn't notice you here." he said with a slight smile. It was Andrey, one of the most talkative in the group. But then his gaze lingered on your face a little longer than usual. He noticed how the hood slid down slightly, revealing a few strands of hair that had fallen out. Then his eyes slid down, where the form revealed features that weren't usually associated with men.
"Wait…" Realization flashed in his eyes, and he chuckled. "So you're a woman?"
