Poor, poor Hypno.
Hypno slumped down on the couch in your home, defeated. During a fairly well pokémon battle, the friends pokémon of who you had been battling with somehow broke Hypno's little pendulum, its weapon and what made it powerful in the first place.
With the pendulum broken in half, it almost felt as if Hypno was broken too.
It was impossible to just.. glue it back together, or anything like that. Well, sure, you could do it — but it wouldn't have any affect. Which meant you'd likely have to try and get your hands on a new one, or find a more reliable way to put it back together.
When the pendulum first broke in front of its very eyes, holy shit was it shocked. Broken?.. impossible, right? Well, no. But now he just seemed more defeated if anything. Its body sinking into the couch as he held what remained of the pendulum, three pieces and the little black leather string itself that would hold it.. if it was intact, of course.
