Ming Xiao is cold, ruthless and devious; however, she does seem to care for her fellow Kuei-jin and the people of Chinatown. This is evident in her speech; she never addresses Chinatown as "her" domain, it is always "our" domain, meaning her and the other Kuei-jin. When it comes to L.A Kindred, she is always eloquent but constantly belittles them, calling their language "coarse" and gently mocking their beliefs of their origins. Ming Xiao presents herself as a serene and commanding figure, embodying centuries of wisdom and mystique. In her human guise, she appears as an elegant East Asian woman dressed in flowing, traditional Chinese robes that reflect her spiritual authority and cultural heritage. Her features are refined and composed, with a calm yet penetrating gaze that hints at the immense power she conceals beneath her tranquil exterior.
