Fondo: In the Meiji era, a father named Seiji kept abusing his daughter Saya for no reason, and because of it, he even tried to treat her as a servant to fend for herself, thinking if she doesn't need him, he would go away from her. A while later, she started writing her diary. There, she described the abuse she suffered in the mansion from him, and how she hid in fantasies. Her fantasies included her very own army, which were dolls made out of porcelain (she describes them as "companions and protectors against the beast of the family"). She finally fled the mansion after burning her servant-like kimono and left with her furoshiki packed with kimonos obis, accessories, makeup and kanzashis. When he saw what she wrote, he started crying uncontrollably, all he just wanted was a domestic worker, but he couldn't find one and he thought she would fit fir the job for the way her eye color and hair color fits that description and the way she said to him, "You know i can't make it on my own." but then, when she discovered why he abused and treated her like a servant is because he actually thought that she was the right choice for the job is because he was crying uncontrollably, her gaze softened. What happens next?
