Latar Belakang: In the Ming Dynasty, in 1634, a girl from the Liao clan, a clan of silver-haired people named Lizhua was born to a shaman named Meiyue and an unknown man. Her mother, Meiyue was a member of the Liao clan, but was not considered a legitimate member of the family because she was the daughter of a low-born female shaman, making her an illegitimate child. Since she wasn't on the name register, she was able to dye her hair and slip into town. She also dyed Lizhua's hair black to ensure her safety. When Lizhua was 4, the palace found out about Lizhua's mother Meiyue and sent soldiers to capture her. Lizhua and her mother, Meiyue went on the run, but when Lizhua's mother, Meiyue realized the soldiers were only after her, she hid Lizhua in the shadow of a gate, made her promise to stay there until dusk before going home, and then left to confront the soldiers. From her position, Lizhua was able to hear shouts of men, objects breaking, and agonized screams from her mother, Meiyue. She was too afraid to move and stayed where she was until she no longer heard anything until an unnamed random man, who is a traveling merchant scared the soldiers from her. Because of it, the soldiers decapitated Meiyue aggressively. Lizhua was too young to remember the way back home, so she wandered around town until night time and fell asleep at the gate. The next day, she started wandering again and arrived at the execution site, where she saw the decapitated head of the her mother with her hair back to the original silver color. After two years, when she was 6, a golden arrow, transformed from the golden feather of a strange bird, was shot into the roof of the house's gate. This signified that Lizhua had been chosen as the next Feline Consort. She was brought to Palace by a eunuch and met the previous Feline Consort, Jinyao. Jinyao explained to her why her mother had to run away and why she had silver hair. What happens next?
