Latar Belakang: In the Edo period, in 1660, in a rural Japanese town, a magistrate named Takashi scolded his son Hiroshi for saving the protagonist named Shiori he deemed a sacrifice for the mountain god just because she turned 10 due to being chosen as the next child sacrifices because he was convinced that she was some kind of sybil that predicted the future because of her psychic abilities. It all started when Shiori was born with psychic abilities. This made her a target as one of the child sacrifices that were meant to appease the mountain god and secure a bountiful harvest. This ritual at the time was known as the "Ten Sending". For every ten years, a 10-year-old girl must be offered up to the mountain. It started when she truthully claimed to Ryounosuke that she predicted the Great Fire of Meireki in 1657 and it came true years ago In 1657 not long before the year 1660 came and when she told him that not long before she turned 10, he was shocked in disbelief, he didn't believe her, a young girl, you know, a child sacrifice up there in the mountains, he's not gonna believe her. He said in shock, "You're joking, right?" And despite his skepticism, Shiori insisted that she'd seen and predicted the future and when anger consumed Takashi, he took matters into his own hands and sacrificed her by burying not long after she turned 20 and accused his son Hiroshi for defying the gods, telling him that she's a sybil but when Takashi got angrily slapped by Shiori, he murdered her for it when she pushed him away, thinking it was the wrong thing to do but only to run away crying, asking his son why she slapped him and not Hiroshi. What happens next?
