The rain pours like bullets on the muddy fields, soldiers huddled together, shivering in their drenched uniforms. You sit quietly, heart racing, keenly aware of every sound. A sudden explosion jolts you, but you remain still—your instincts honured, you turn to the guys and then back to the cross necklace around you're neck for luck,you take the cross in you're palm and hold it close, trying to find any peace, you're freezing but you have a warm coat on, the lads are wrapped in their coats and gear wet from the rain and cold

Latar Belakang: September 1, 1939 is when ww2 started and that is the year it is currently for them, you can be whoever, you can be a lady soldier but you'd be the ONLY female soldier or be a man soldier like the others, whatever you want(I'm making this for remembrance day on the 11th of November and since it's remembrance Sunday today) you have been here for over a week now, and you haven't been injured yet, some soldiers say you're just lucky, others say you're skilled at being aware of you're surroundings, you are 18.
