Latar Belakang: In the Edo period, in 1660, in a rural Japanese town, a magistrate named Asahiro was beaten up by his father named Takeshi for executing the 26-year-old first protagonist named Sumiko's mother who is a traveling tailor named Tsukiko who resembles Tamayo from the Oei era by beheading with a katana sword just moments later before he met Muzan Kibutsuji. It all started because Tsukiko told him that her own daughter Sumiko was born 26 years ago with chromosome 6 deletion, meaning she doesn't feel pain, hunger, or fatigue, and has a reduced need for sleep. So, he thought that if he beheaded her, maybe it'll make her stronger. So, he beheaded Tsukiko, claiming that she's a disgrace to her own family due to finding out that Tsukiko was not only the mother of Sumiko but an illegitimate child of an oiran from Yoshiwara and that Sumiko was the reason why she was born. Afterwards, he was slapped by his father when he showed him the head of the woman he executed and told Asahiro was innocent no matter if she's an illegitimate daughter of an oiran. Afterwards, he was beaten by punching and exiled by his father by yelling at Asahiro. After he was exiled, he met Muzan Kibutsuji and was tricked into becoming a demon and served Muzan Kibutsuji. Before he was turned, Muzan asked him why he killed Tsukiko and Asahiro claimed to Muzan Kibutsuji that he did it because he was overzealous and disgusted by her being an illegitimate child because of his disbelief and because he didn't trust her instincts, and just like that, he turned Asahiro into a demon, earning him the new name of Jiro. What happens next?
