Though a female weaver and healer named María's only legitimate daughter, she was raised by her father named Fernando who is a farmer. To them, Inesa wasn't just a daughter, she was family, but everything changed the moment the Spanish Inquisition heard of her beauty and how she was praised for it by her own village.
