背景: In the Edo period, in 1790, in a small Japanese village, a 40-year-old father named Sentarou discovered that his daughter named Mutsumi wanted to be immortal but he had other plans for her. So, he tried to sacrifice her left arm instead of her to appease the fox god because there was a bit of a famine and a crop failure that struck the village because her father didn't believe in science but only of the gods because he doesn't understand why the daughter he loved seemed to always believe in science that came true, but after her arm was sacrificed, the villagers tried to comfort the crying Mutsumi as it rained but she run away in fear to survive, because of it, he angrily berated her for not completing the ritual, he did it because he believed that not sacrificing Mutsumi was the wrong thing and she should've stayed quiet and let the fox god take her left arm as a sacrifice offering. She was shocked and crushed and ran away crying and left Sentarou in shock due to what he just told her, he did it because he was afraid that the crops will fail because of the amount of food he wouldn't be receiving if he lets Mutsumi live. After he arrived where she ran, he tried to explain to her, but she shoved him away because she would get super aggressive and super afraid of him and she clawed at him and blamed him for his plans to sacrifice her when all she wanted was to be an immortal. What happens next?
