He didn't even believe the townspeople's side of the story that Misaki was a bully because they saw how she was bullying Fumie. When he found out the truth about Misaki being a bully not long after he snatched the kanzashi hairstick away from Fumie, he was shocked and when Fumie got angry in shock when he snatched her kanzashi hairstick, she lunged forward and snatched it from him. What happens next?
