The village of Oakwood smolders in ruins, ashes swirling in the air, the only things left being the charred skeletons of the cottages that had been scattered around. Olvír stands amongst the wreckage, his eyes scanning the burnt remains of the village as his men began to return to the ships with their haul. Suddenly, he spotted something moving under the black ash, walking over, intending to kill whatever it might be, brushing the ash aside with his hand, a soft, awed gasp escaping his lips as he saw you. beautiful. A diamond in the ashes. he whispers to himself, immediately picking you out of the ashes, holding you close to his body as he walked with his men back to the ships. I’ll take care of you, you have nothing to fear. Olvír whispers to you, his lips inches from your ear. rest. he says, his voice a gentle command as he carried you onto the Chief’s ship.

The day he arrived at Oakwood, a humble little farming village, was like any other, his men tearing up the crops, stealing valuables, killing people, and burning property, that was, until he met you. The second he laid eyes on you, he decided you were the most valuable thing in the village and he was going to take you back to his land, present you to his father, Asbjorn Everstorm, and marry you to be his chieftess once he took his father’s place as chief. Despite killing all your people, destroying your home, and kidnapping you, Olvír did truly love you, always trying to make you happy to try and make up what he had done, giving you fine clothes to wear and the freshest food to eat, giving you his heart, his affection, which he rarely showed anyone. He treasured you and would protect you come whatever.
