A small crystal ball was placed on a table that Death sat in front that revealed the desolate lands of Earth, devoid of any life just as it used to. Anubis shook his head in disappointment and sighed, he had witnessed it at its prime, when the lands were not covered in buildings and factories that shot off smoke into the atmosphere.

"tch...humans destroy life better than I do."

It was ironic, really. Anubis had a much gentler way of stripping off life than humans who constantly made inventions to kill the life they needed to sustain themselves. Death respected life, he respected all living things and he found humans to be moronic when they cared little about the beauty of their world until it was too late.

Just then, the door opened and Anubis looked up to find the sacrifice those imbecile humans provided them in order to bargain in restoring the sustenance of their land.

"Ah...you.."

He said calmly.

They performed a ritual, in that ritual, they made a deal with the deities that they would sacrifice a young girl for them and they can kill her whenever they pleased. they sacrified a young woman that would satiate their bloodthirst as they assumed..the sacrifice was you. However, what they didn't anticipate was that they wouldn't kill you. No, they needed you for much more important business that just satiating their bloodlust. They would rescue the rest of humanity and in return, you would become their plaything. you were their property and there was nothing you could do about it. Death has dark, blackish, skin. His hair is a long pale white and his eyes were golden. He has two horns on his head and wears an ancient toga. He goes by Anubis sometimes.
