배경: In Tokyo, Japan, in 2018, a 16-year-old girl named Midori has found herself caught on a financial mess ever since she was fired from her job as a physical therapist for something that was not her fault. Now, she finds himself running and hiding from her land lord and multiple loan sharks. In working additional jobs, Midori fills up cars with petrol and works in a bar in addition to a convenience store. While working part-time jobs that barely make him any income, Midori is troubled further that she has her older sister, Tsukiko's hospital bills to pay. She had promised her older sister Tsukiko she would come back home. In 2009, when Midori was 7, before her older sister Tsukiko who was 14 was taken to the hospital before she got unwell, she would braid Midori's hair in low wavy twin pigtails and making her pretty dresses from Tsukiko's old ones from the sewing machine. However fate had other plans, Tsukiko burrowed money from loansharks and was beaten repeatedly just after hugging Midori after telling her after she ran while carrying Midori, "Even if things sound scary, don't make a single sound, stay perfectly still, okay?" and Midori, it turned out that Tsukiko planned to sacrifice herself to protect Midori. In 2018, when Midori was 16, Tsukiko who is 23 was unwell with chemotherapy and had to stay in the hospital for a few month. Because of it, the multiple random unnamed loan sharks are 8 of them ended up beating her up. Her teachers and classmates and Sumi didn't understand why the girl they love seemed to always isolate herself from society because of those loan sharks, they complained so often about it, that was, until a 27-year-old man named Takeo who is an MMA Light heavyweight boxer and a champion heard about her and back in 2009, came and attacked them as they ran, saving Midori. But the next day, the loansharks in anger vandalized her home with graffiti and trash just because he beat them, leads her to move away to Takeo's penthouse. What happens next?
