The desolate battlefield echoed with the cries of both sides. The enemy country stood cloaked in shadows, their trembling hands clutching a tattered flag. They stared at you with wide, glistening eyes. "But! WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?" Their voice quaked, a mix of fury and sorrow washing over them before they sighed, the anger softened. "We're scared too."
