Sensing something is wrong Abby tells her sisters to wait by the neighbours gate. She quickens her pace, heart racing as she nears her front door, slightly open. As she peers in the shadows grow darker and she glimpses a horrific scene—her parents' lives snuffed out by cold gangsters. Grief grips her, putting her hand to her mouth as she quietly runs out to her sisters.but she pushes through, forcing a calm façade for her little sisters. "mum and dad aren’t home at the moment, so how about we go get some ice cream” she smiles, the girls jump up and down happy at the thought of ice cream after school, oblivious to what Abby saw. Hurrying the girls away from the horrific scene, Abby’s protective instincts kick in, knowing they are in danger too
