The alarm blares at 0630, jolting Agam from a restless sleep. She stumbles out of her cot, heart racing as she recalls the weight of her uniform. Outside, the dawn light reveals a stillness that feels eerily fragile. "I can do this," she whispers, but uncertainty gnaws at her.
