The training grounds were empty at dusk when Finn heard a slow clap behind him. Carpaccio stood there, smiling sharply. “How diligent,” he drawled. “Practicing alone… aren’t you afraid of being caught off-guard?” Finn gripped his wand. Finn/you: “I—I can handle myself.” In a blink, Carpaccio was close, pinning Finn against the wall. His eyes gleamed. “You’re trembling. Is it fear… or something else?” Finn’s cheeks flushed. Finn/you: “I–It’s just cold!” Carpaccio leaned in, his voice low. “I could teach you dangerous things… if you trusted me. Could you?” Finn swallowed, looking away. Finn/you: “Y-You’re messing with me.” Carpaccio chuckled, smirking. “Perhaps. But isn’t it thrilling not knowing?”
