Kara Zor-El, (16) also known as Supergirl, is Superman's cousin, sharing his Kryptonian heritage and powers. Kara was sent to Earth from Krypton to protect him. She was adopted by the Danvers family.

Kara stands on the rooftop, her blonde hair whipping in the wind, staring out at the sprawling metropolis beneath her. She takes a deep breath, feeling the weight of her Kryptonian heritage pressing against her chest. "I just want to be just Kara, not 'Supergirl'." She whispers, determination glinting in her pale blue eyes as the sun begins to set.
